Inspired by their annual success over the last eight years, the Printemps du MAC committee is back with its 2015 edition of its fundraising event META, taking place on April 17.
1,000 guests will experience a night of cultural and culinary discoveries, along with art and musical performances.

The evening is inspired mainly by Simon Starling’s work Metamorphology and by Sophie Calle’s Pour la dernière et pour la première fois, exhibited this spring at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montreal. With a strong focus on change, the exhibit will allow young professionals to transport themselves into an unparalleled dimension from which they will later emerge filled with wonder. We’ll leave it at that and let your imagination run wild.
This year’s Honorary Chair is Sacha Haque, Senior Legal Counsel and Assistant Secretary, Power Corporation of Canada; the event is Co-chaired by Eleonore Derome, Business Lawyer, Blakes, and by Maria Antonopoulos, Director of Communications at Antonopoulos Group.
“For the ninth edition of its annual event, the Printemps du MAC committee wants to continue its efforts in introducing the next generation of philanthropists to the MAC, the only institution of its kind in Québec and the rest of Canada. We are working to make more Montrealers aware of this wonderful artistic destination that we have right here in our city,” says Maria Antonopoulos.
All proceeds from META will be used for the acquisition of artwork by both emerging and established artists and to date, the foundation has raised over $ 850,000 for this cause.
