It is hard to believe that young professional (YP) staple The Drake Hotel is already 10 years old…it makes us feel kind of old. Naturally, there is a party…and it lasts all week. From February 14-20th, join The Drake for a celebration of culture, community and hospitality, with a different element highlighted each day. This means everything from live musical performances and the lobby festooned with balloons and filled with surprises, to prizes, contests and $10 hotel rooms awarded throughout the week both at the Drake Hotel and over their social platforms. For guests sleeping over during the birthday bonanza, traditional party loot bags filled with untraditional, Drake tokens will be given at check-in, and all diners will receive ten per cent off purchases at the Drake General Store. A highlight will be their official Birthday Party on Thursday, February 19th. Wear your party best and be prepared for a birthday cake unlike any other along with performances all night in the Lounge as Ice Cream, The Cruelty Party and headliners Hooded Fang celebrate the culmination of an amazing week and ten years at Queen and Beaconsfield.
