If you live in Calgary and are in the market for a “used” cat (no, that’s not a typo), you probably should have been at the Cat-tastic Summer Pawty Adoption Event on Saturday.
Even if you’re not looking for a cat, the hilarious video push by the Calgary Humane Society should have been reason enough to at least entertain the idea of adopting a furry feline.
In the video, the organization features a fast-talking, tacky suit wearing, “used cat salesman” as part of its annual August push to find homes for the cats who currently live in its shelter.
The video was posted on YouTube in the lead-up to the event.
And apparently, the “used cat salesman” wasn’t all talk – he managed to broker deals for 34 adoptions of cats and other animals in the crowded shelter, according to the society.
In fact, the shelter adopted a total of 106 animals last week.
