The Best Steakhouse in Toronto as Voted by You

And the winner is…

Bestellen.

We have to admit, because it’s the only steakhouse that isn’t really a classic “steakhouse,” we hesitated to include this place in the competition. Luckily, we did – ‘cause it turned out to be your favourite beef bodega in the entire city, earning an impressive 31.4% of your vote. No doubt their impressive cocktail program and hipster-chic ambiance had something to do with the victory but there’s no question that their daily selection is usually a cut above the rest.

In a convincing second place was the King West Jacob’s with 22.8% of your votes, effortlessly overtaking the third place, Barberian’s Steakhouse by more than a 10-point margin.

Other honorable mentions include the fancy-schmancy Harbour Sixty (they have over 1100 bottles of wine, including a several-thousand-dollar bottle of Screaming Eagle), the brand-spanking-new Nao on Avenue Road, and financial core veteran, Hy’s Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar, earning 4th, 5th and 6th places respectively.

Below you’ll see a centre-cut fillet that breaks down all the votes. Take a look, and if you disagree with what you see, let us know in the comments section. Or next time, just get up in our grill and vote…
