The Best Pad Thai in Toronto As Voted by You

And the winner is:

Khao San Road – Adelaide Street West

Given how busy this place is all the time, we can’t say we’re blown away by KSR taking the title. With a spicy scale that actually goes up to 11 and a choice between two fresh, perfectly seasoned pad Thai options, this relatively recent market entrant is a worthy champ.

And if you really want people to like your food, it’s not a terrible idea to let them order “Thai Buckets”, which each include something like 5 shots of rum and a Red Bull.

With just under half the votes muscled by our winner, SukhoTHAI was a distant but respectable 2nd place (and you should know that they just opened a 3rd location on Dundas West) while a whole pile of spots made up the “Other” category, cumulatively taking 3rd place – but while impressive in breadth, no single spot stood out from the pack.

Also having notable response from the voting were the hip Pai Northern Thai Kitchen and the Church Street spot, Golden Thai – both of whom refreshingly accept reservations.

Below you’ll find a pie chart that breaks down all the votes. Take a look, and if you disagree with what you see let us know in the comment section, or, next time, just curry up and vote.
