The 3 Best Toronto Bars to Sip Aveleda on a Fall Sunday

Fall, Sundays, and a glass of Aveleda Vinho Verde are pretty much synonymous.

Because after brunch and the errands are over, there’s something special about a Sunday afternoon white wine relaxation – especially on crisp fall days.

Naturally, it needs to be a spot that carries our go-to – Aveleda Wines.

So the next time you’re looking for the perfect fall spot to settle into, stop by one of our Toronto favourites.

Williams Landing
Williams Landing is a perfect Sunday Funday spot to sip and swirl a glass of wine. Ample television sets have the football fanatics covered; the massive patio offers a chance to soak up the last of the season’s rays, and the open, casual environment is designed to facilitate interaction amongst guests – so your single friends will be happy, too. Oh, and a comforting list of appetizers is always there to complement that glass (or two) of Aveleda.

Khao San Road
When it comes to places that serve Aveleda, we couldn’t not include the winner of our “Best Toronto pad Thai” poll: Khao San Road. Sure, it’s more of a restaurant, but because it’s always busy (as in, line-up busy), the bar makes a great place to sit and swirl a glass of Aveleda after a Sunday afternoon spent shopping, brunching, or errand-running downtown. Plus, a snack of a shared pad Thai, squash fritters, or Thai chicken spring rolls is just as comforting than any typical bar and pub fare.

Czehoski Bar
Czehoski Bar may be best enjoyed on Sunday afternoons, in our opinion. Though we love it any time, when it’s not jam packed with Saturday night party people, it offers an inviting spot to savour a glass of wine after a Queen West shopping day. As the weather gets colder, it always offers a warm environment – not to mention some damn fine poutine. Aveleda + comfort food? Now, that’s what we call a combo worth sitting down for.

See you next Sunday.
