Tatiana’s vibrant personality and imaginative styling techniques have propelled her to the forefront of the Montreal fashion scene. Not only did she lend her creativity and unique craftsmanship to the company, she became an essential part of the team for three years, an experience that has led to her own personal styling service…

Elevator Pitch: Describe your job in a nutshell.
I am a freelance fashion stylist represented by Judy Inc., a national artist agency. I style for fashion campaigns, editorial and commercials.

Why did you start working at your company? What was the inspiration for this career route?
I started out as a fashion designer working at Rudsak and worked closely with the stylist that worked on the runway shows, as well as the campaign. He inspired me among others to work for myself. When I noticed that I was further driven into creating concepts and applying the right pieces together for the runway show, I realized the decision I needed to take and was motivated for this new challenge.

What is the best part of what you do on a day-to-day basis? The most challenging part?
Best part is always researching, looking for new trends, and being inspired by what’s out there in all aspects. On the flipside, it is also the most challenging part, creating a concept and abiding by it with the proper tools and team.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I see myself living abroad directing aspiring stylists, creating concepts for upcoming editorials, and running a creative agency; the possibilities are endless… essentially doing what I do now with more experience.

What does success look like to you?
Success is ongoing. I have long-term goals and short-term goals. Success is accomplishing those goals.

What is the most memorable milestone in your career?
Most memorable milestone I would say was filming my first commercial for Cadillac. It was a beautiful experience filming in three exquisite countries (Morocco, Monaco, China) with an extraordinary team.

Do you have any advice for other young professionals?
Never give up, as cliché as it sounds. Believe that you can and you will in whatever domain pleases you.

Do you support any charities? If so, which one(s) and why is that important to you?
Make a Wish Foundation. My family and I have been supporting it for years. It is so important to me because I look at how blessed I am to be happy and healthy and to have a beautiful loving family, to have the opportunities to travel and explore. These children/people are not so fortunate and it gives me great pleasure to make what they wish for possible as best I can.

Breast Cancer research and treatment; I have walked side-by-side at the walk for breast cancer with some of the most courageous women I have ever met. Very inspiring.

What to you is notable?
Being true to yourself and what is important to you. Notable to me are those who do not need anyone’s approval but their own.

Blackberry, iPhone, Android, or Other?
iPhone. Any artist would agree it is extremely convenient.
