Taste for Life: The Glamorous Foodie Fundraiser is Back

The most delectable event of the Montreal charity circuit is back on May 27th at Time Supper Club, and hopefully by the time you read this, a few tickets will still be left.

Hosted by the Israel Cancer Research Fund’s (ICRF) New Leadership Division, Taste for Life will feature fabulous fare, fun, and festivities served up by our city’s coolest culinary spots.

For those that want to live the VIP experience, Antonio Park of PARK restaurant will host the lavish affair kicking off at 6pm. Also making a VIP splash will be L’Orignal, shucking beautiful oysters all night long. The VIP cocktail event will also feature an open bar, where guests can sip signature cocktails, gummies from candyland Squish, and more.

Beginning at 7:00pm, guests with general admission will enjoy gastronomic greatness created by more than 20 of Montreal’s most sought-after hotspots.

Returning favourites include RYU sushi, exquisitely crafted grilled-cheese by Suwu, chicken and waffles by Monsieur, Bar Anabel, Lesters’ Deli piping hot smoked meat sandwiches, and freshly cut filet mignon from Moishes, served with coleslaw and pickles to boot.

As far as new players on board, the list is pretty stellar and includes Harlow, Dolcetto, Taverne sur le Square, Rasoï, Cho, Miss Prêt-À-Manger, BuonaNotte, Salmagondis, and Time Supper Club.

And let’s not forget La Cornetteria’s melt-in-your-mouth cronuts…yes, we also can’t wait to die and go to sweet, sweet heaven.

Aside from all the food your taste buds could ever dream of, guests will be treated to the tunes of DJ Adam Doubleyou and DJ Tiguru, full bar service, a selfie-station, and a silent auction full of designers treats, vacations, and more.

Guest of honour this year will be Jessica Scalera, who battled Stage four brain cancer – including over three years of chemotherapy – with inspiring courage and a relentless positivity. With the loving support of friends and family, and innovations in cancer treatment made possible through research foundations like ICRF, Jessica has been in remission for over three years. Event proceeds will go toward a research project grant with a focus on brain cancer.

See you gluttons and givers there.
