The most recent addition to The Smugglers Group of restaurants, Tango has a mix of seating options to accommodate a variety of occasions whether you are looking to eat and mingle, or want your meal to bit a bit more intimate.
Tango offers an under-an-hour business lunch menu for when you want something delicious to eat, but have to dash back to the office in good time. The meals include a choice of appetizer, first and second courses as well as a “shot” of dessert, which, like it sounds, is a small dessert served in a shot glass. Dining in a large group at Tango is ideal because you are able to share many different plates and taste more of the delicious menu. The dishes are brought to the table continuously throughout your time at this Calgary restaurant, which will encourage your group to feel free to mingle and chat while nibbling on small offerings of food. Tango Bistro offers Pulled Pork Poutine, which is something of a Calgary obsession, as well as more exotic options such as the Chorizo Stuffed Medjool Dates wrapped in bacon and served with a smoked paprika tomato sauce. Tango also has a variety of flatbreads such as Grilled Steak, Pear and Gorgonzola, and Garlic Chicken.
For those not as interested in sharing, Tango has a section of “mini meals” on their menu, including Seared Filet Mignon and Shortrib Cottage Pie with a horseradish potato crust and braised cabbage.
