Yes, we miss living at the beach and working on our tan, too. But that doesn’t mean winter in Vancouver can’t be equally as awesome. You just have to know what to do. Don’t believe us? Check out our list...
If you haven’t noticed, winter can be long in Canada. And from the sounds of things, this year’s is supposed to be harsher and longer than usual. That said, there’s no time like the present to prepare yourself with a list of essential activities for when you’re stuck indoors. Not those kind of activities, though; we’re going to keep it clean this time around
Anyone who lives in Calgary knows that September is actually one of the nicest months for hot, sunny days, and with that we’ve been inspired to create a countdown of things that you can do to celebrate the last days of balmy weather
Fast-forward a month or two from now. Things will look a little different for us, as the trees start to resemble a witch’s gnarly fingers, the sky darkens before the workday ends, and that rotation of leather jackets and patterned scarves already starts to get old. The good news is that we still have a few precious weeks to make the most of the warm(ish) weather
You’ll see us, slowly shuffling down the street, heads bowed, faces blank, with dark circles under our red-rimmed eyes. The angles in our faces and bodies have become more pronounced as we slowly cry away our appetites, leaving us pale and gaunt and too often looking like bobblehead dolls (I’m definitely rocking this look right now). We are the victims of a freshly broken heart
We hate to say it, but the days are getting shorter and the evenings are getting cooler; soon we will be welcoming fall, albeit with less than open arms. Lest it be all doom and gloom, we’ve put together a list of activities to add to your end-of-summer to do list that will leave you feeling like you got the most out of your summer
