Sofia Kanjee, was rushed to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and despite receiving outstanding care, Sofia did not survive. In honor of “Sofia Sunshine,” the third Annual Sunshine Gala is being held at the Westin Hotel in downtown Calgary. The Gala will benefit the implementation of an Extracorporeal Life Support Program (ECLS), a life saving technology that will enhance the care provided by the Alberta Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The Gala features dinner, dancing, auctions and much more.
