Canada’s largest juried theatre festival takes over Toronto between August 4th and 14th, bringing with it the most engaging and unique theatre in the country. This year’s events includes an art bar located at the courtyard at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art and Edward Day Gallery featuring live performances and DJs every night. Now in its fourth year, the 2011 edition of Summerworks had nearly 200 submissions, making it the most competitive selection process yet – so no matter what you go to see during the festival, you’re almost guaranteed to enjoy it.
