Spring Thaw: A Delicious Recap

On Monday night, 20 of Canada’s best chefs gathered at the Palais Royale to highlight the best organic and non-GMO produce Ontario has to offer – and it was more delicious than we could have imagined.

Though we shouldn’t have been surprised with a lineup that included the likes of Paula Navarrete (Daish? Momofuku), Paul Boehmer (Böhmer), Anthony Rose (Rose and Sons, Big Crow), Alexander Molitz (Farmhouse Tavern) Jamie Kennedy (Jamie Kennedy Kitchens), and many, many more. Founded in 2008 by acclaimed Canadian Chef Michael Stadtländer (also in attendance), the The Canadian Chefs’ Congress operates under the vision of connecting chefs to our land in solidarity with farmers, fishers, gardeners, foragers, and all artisanal food producers.

Warning: Here you’ll find a collection of food photos that will make you kick yourself for not being there (one of those shin kicks that linger for a long time). These events are held only once every two years. We suggest you start booking off 2016 now…
