Snoop Dogg Says He’s Moving to Toronto After Trump’s Win, Asks Drake to Help Him Relocate

If you’re a follower of Snoop Dogg’s ridiculously high-larious Instagram feed, then you may know that the rapper we’ve all known and loved since our youth has a soft spot for Toronto.

Back on the October 9 Jays game against the New York Rangers, he posted a pic of himself in a Jays jersey alongside Jose Bautista – a picture that was snapped in June 2015 when we threw the opening pitch.

When we chatted with him on a red carpet during that same visit, he said the person who he’s most like to get high with was a fellow Canadian – Bubbles from The Trailer Park Boys.

Now – after Trump’s win – Snoop Dogg says he is moving to The Six.

At least, that’s what his Instagram post tells us. Not long after Trump was announced president, Snoop took to Instagram with a picture of the Toronto skyline and a shout-out to homegrown hottie Drake for some real estate advice.

My new home. @champagnepapi I need the hookup on some property. Nefew fuck this shit I’m going to the. 6ix A photo posted by snoopdogg (@snoopdogg) on

“My new home. @champagnepapi I need the hookup on some property,” Snoop wrote under a photo of Toronto’s skyline. “Nefew f–k this s–t I’m going to the. 6ix.”

Maybe he’ll be neighbours with Drake near his new Bridle Path residence?

While Snoop was clearly not thrilled with Trump’s win, his silver lining was California’s decision to legalize recreational marijuana statewide, which he expressed via presumably smoke-filled social media posts. With no shortage of marijuana dispensaries, it’s safe to say that he’ll have no problems with his mandate to “smoke weed every day.”

This includes his own stuff. Last month, Leafs by Snoop, the rapper’s medical marijuana company teamed up with Canadian licensed producer Tweed to release a trio of strains available to patients countrywide.
