Last week, we told you about 10 of the coolest tents we could find – ones that will actually make you want to go camping.
But, we found one more we couldn’t not share with you.
There’s a translucent bubble tent that allows you to sleep under the starry sky.
The tent is 4m in diameter, with enough space to house two adults. Making life easier, the tents are also fully furnished with sofa sets, beds, and electric lamps.
The igloo-shaped tent is made out of PVC and PVC tarpaulin material, making it waterproof and fire-retardant. It’s also inflatable, so setting it up and taking it down isn’t a total pain. As in, the whole process takes just a few minutes.
The concept is the brainchild of French designer Pierre Stephane Dumas, who designed the tent to give campers a panoramic experience with the surrounding countryside and stars, while retaining the hotel suite-like comforts typically absent from camping.
If you’ve made it a mission to get close with nature this summer, this may be the closest thing to sleeping outdoors.
The tents are available all over France for $635 per night on rent, which is probably a better idea than splurging on one – it will set you back close to $12,000.
