Sled Island is back and ready to rock Calgary. This annual four-day indie music and arts festival runs June 22nd through the 25th, and will bring together over 200 artists and bands in more than 25 venues throughout the city. Sled Island was started in 2007, and since then its innovative and eclectic programming and independent spirit have combined with Calgary’s youthful energy to produce a festival that now attracts a diverse and global audience, is praised by local and international artists, and was recently voted one of the top 10 music festivals in Canada by listeners of CBC Radio 3.
