Prevail & Chewies Oyster Bar are looking for the créme de la créme of knife-wielding oyster shuckers in Vancouver to compete in their 1st Annual Shucking competition Saturday May 24th at their Gastown location to raise funds for Bikers for Autism.
Thinking about taking a vacay this summer?
Invites will be extended to 16 of the best (motha)shuckers in the city to compete for $1,000 in cash prizes along with a round-trip flight to anywhere in North America.
Oh and did we mention that the overall winner will be presented with the Shuck It Forward trophy?
Best part – we know.
The festivities will include a Red Truck Tap takeover, a Southern style seafood broil, live music by Tim Sars Trio Band & El DJ Loco, and a Lords of Gastown custom bike build photo-booth…because it doesn’t count unless there are photos of it.
So stop being shellfish and come out to support a great cause.
