Last Thursday was the exclusive opening of a brand new fixture on the St. Paul cobble strip in Old Montreal.
Scarlet Exclusive is now in business and it’s a stunner from a design perspective, displaying a polished and theatrical décor with enveloping British notes and a lush, seductive atmosphere.
Sounds sexy? Well, it is.
As beautiful as the interior is, the star of the space is their open-air garden terrace. Sheltered away from curious eyes, Scarlet’s snazzy patio welcomes aficionados of warm summer breezes and cozy moonlight, from happy hour until very late in the evening.
The people watching isn’t too shabby either, ladies and gents.
Whether it’s at the bar, on the terrace or in the dining room, Scarlet offers a menu filled with refined palates featuring a plethora of unique flavours and eclectic assemblages of Nelson Maceira’s dishes. From small and delicate creations to the decadent main courses, Scarlet’s menu is seriously full.
Think Chateaubriand black angus, guinea hen breast, sturgeon caviar from Abitibi, swordfish carpaccio, decomposed cheesecake and, well, you get the idea. Something for everyone.
And what would an Italian resto be without a fine selection of liquor? From an elaborate grappa menu to sweet wines and cognac, come chill by the bar, grab a sip, and indulge in the finer things this gorgeous spot has to offer.
That’s probably where you’ll find us.
