If you love of Ryan Gosling or viral Vine posts, you’re probably familiar with the series “Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal.”
Created by a fellow Ryan – a Scotsman named Ryan McHenry – the series played off of Gosling’s super serious demeanor in so many of his films. In each Vine, McHenry held a spoonful of cereal up to Gosling’s ever-so-serious face.
And everybody loved it.
Well, maybe not Gosling, who said that he actually likes cereal and (assumingly jokingly) said he wouldn’t forgive McHenry via a Twitter exchange.
Sadly, 27-year-old McHenry lost his battle to cancer on Sunday.
Last night, Gosling took to Vine in a tribute to McHenry that makes us love him even more. In a simple post, Gosling pours and eats the cereal. He also posted a touching message to McHenry’s friends and family.
