Rumour Has it That Meghan and Prince Harry Will Honeymoon in Canada

According to gossip gossip go-to TMZ, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will honeymoon in Canada.

The royal couple, who wed on May 19 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, are reportedly looking to spend a few days at the breathtaking Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta.

Naturally, they’ll be sleeping over at the Outlook Cabin, a 6,000-square foot wilderness mansion fittingly referred to as the “Royal Retreat”. And that’s not hyperbole, either – King George VI and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother stayed at the cabin in 1939, while the current Queen, Elizabeth II, and Prince Philip graced its premises in 2005. It’s also where Marilyn Monroe and Robert Mitchum filmed “River of No Return” in 1953.

The Outlook Cabin boasts six bedrooms, two fireplaces, a huge terrace with BBQ, full kitchen with private catering, and probably a million other exquisite additions flown in for the occasion.

Markle, of course, has a connection to Canada. She starred in the hit legal drama Suits, which was mostly filmed in Toronto.

No date has been set for the honeymoon, and details are being kept to a minimum. “

We are declining further comment at this time as our top priority is always the safety and privacy of all our guests,” said Angela Moore, regional director of public relations for Fairmont Hotels and Resort, in a statement on the matter.
