Rock These to Your Next Concert

Concerts mark the perfect opportunity to bond with clients or the girls and guys, or to impress and let loose on a first date. Obviously, this means you need to look good – but you don’t want to be too overdone, and comfort and versatility are a must. Here are two of our top footwear choices for both the YP lady and gentleman

With names like Beyonce, The Rolling Stones, John Mayer, Bruno Mars and Ellie Goulding set to grace Canadian stages this summer, concert season 2013 has arrived; and it’s going to be notable. Concerts mark the perfect opportunity to bond with clients or the girls and guys, or to impress and let loose on a first date. They’re also an occasion where you’re likely to run into random friends, acquaintances and business connections from times both past and present. Obviously, this means you need to look good – but you don’t want to be too overdone, and comfort and versatility are a must. Here are two of our top footwear choices for both the YP lady and gentleman from ALDO.

For the Ladies: The Kasota
ALDO’s Kasota is seemingly designed for the summer concert. A one-inch micro-wedge heel allows for extra height to see the stage but still makes the metallic sandal comfortable enough for walking, standing and dancing for prolonged periods of time. The decorative metallic hardware gives them a rock and roll feel and adds personality to a basic t-shirt and skinny jeans with complementary jewellery. They also pair well with a light maxi dress for those humid evenings later in the summer. Featuring an ankle strap with a rear zipper, the Kasota is available in black synthetic (most concert-appropriate) or white for $80 CAD.

For the Gents: The Solan
Seen on runways by Valentino and Commes des Garcons, camouflage, or “the camo trend,” is big this season. ALDO’s trendy Solan camouflage trainers are a no-fail option to take you through the summer concert circuit. The all-over camouflage print will disguise any dirt or grass stains that may accumulate in the process. Comfortable for all the time spent on your feet, the textile lace-up trainer features a low-top silhouette textile lining and a vulcanized rubber sole. Camouflage pairs nicely with neutrals and solid colours. At $45 CAD, the Solan offers a refreshingly affordable price tag as well.
