Winterlicious Favourite: Trevor Kitchen and Bar

Trevor Kitchen and Bar is packed full of the city’s finance industry young professionals every night of the week (except Sundays and Mondays when they’re closed). Located in a cozy basement space at the foot of Toronto’s financial district, this resto will surely be one of the favourites once Winterlicious kicks off on January 26th. 

For fans of foie gras, you must go here. Trevor Kitchen and Bar is so keen on it, they’ve included a section on the menu to five exceptional foie gras plates, including truffled goat cheese poutine with seared foie gras and a salt cured foie gras club sandwich with dill pickles. 

Their meat dishes, though, are what keep us returning time and time again. Port braised beef cheeks served with sunchoke risotto and shaved foie gras (obviously) and the venison striploin with mulled wine braised shoulder, turnip fondant and peppercorn sauce are notable favourites. What’s even more notable? You can bring your own bottle of wine as the perfect complement to your meal. We also suggest bringing a date.
