This year’s Red and White Ball has a new twist- an added kiss of blue. The not-to-miss event, traditionally solely in support of Rethink Breast Cancer, will donate half of its funds generated to Prostate Cancer. The Red & White Ball is an annual one-night event where Toronto’s most stylish and influential young professionals come together in a sea of red and white to support a worthy cause. As its name would suggest, guests are encouraged to wear either red or white (derived from the deconstruction of “pink”, the colour traditionally associated with breast cancer, into its primary colours of red and white), perhaps with a splash of blue. Since 2002, Red & White has been fully organized and operated by a talented group of 20 something volunteers that have raised more than $100,000 for Rethink Breast Cancer.
