On Wednesday, July 6th, Notable hosted the second Chilean wine tasting event with Wines of Chile on the amazing roof-top patio at Toronto’s Spoke Club. A chic and sophisticated young professional crowd gathered to explore the wines from three very notable Chilean wineries – Concha Y Toro, Errazuriz, and Via Wines – paired with delicious tapas and hors d’oeuvres from the chefs at Spoke Club.
Throughout the night, the attendees, decked out in their best smart summer attire, mingled and sipped, all the while discovering the notes and flavours of the Chilean region. Wines of Chile are known globally for their diversity, quality, and value, and these were all evident glass after glass.
Special guest Christopher Waters, Editor-in-Chief of Vines Magazine, was on hand to provide some words of encouragement and wisdom for the tasters, most notably letting all know that the best way to judge a wine is if it invites you to have a second sip. Brian Pieters won a case of Xplorador Carmenere thanks to the #NotableChileanWines Twitter contest.
