Where do you get your style inspiration?
The woman of 2013 is my inspiration. She is eclectic, at times classic (the mother in the supermarket with child), with a cutting-edge feel (the flirty teenage girl); a modern twist (career-oriented) with a street side and vintage glam combined. Every woman has an inspiring story that contributes to the makeup of my collections.
Who are some designers that have inspired you and how have they done so?
Tom Ford’s sexy designs exude confidence while maintaining an almost effortless energy…and the jovial, girlie energy behind Pink Tartan is uplifting and often reminiscent of a dress I often envisioned as a little girl.
What is the best part of your job?
Having the ability to make my dreams come true while working my passion for beauty and design every single day. I also am so grateful that I can learn something new every single day that will create long-lasting positive affects in my business and personal growth.
What are your staple go-to pieces?
I’m all about my statement necklace(s), killer sunglasses, and hot heels!
What are this season’s hottest trends?
Bold floral prints, bright hues and pastel, and a sense of fearlessness! Celebrating your identity or desired identity through fashion has never been so trendy.
What are some fashion trends that you would never like to see again?
Never say never – everything contains a beauty. Whether it be hidden or manifested, it and can be transformed into something beautiful.
