We’re always intrigued by who wore what at the Oscars, but last night the spotlight at the 86th Annual Academy Awards was on the most powerful dynamic duos on the red carpet. Here’s who won sartorially last night in Hollywood…
1. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
Angelina shimmered in a floor length Elie Saab dress, Ferragamo shoes & clutch, and Robert Procop jewels. Brad, who won an Academy Award for his work as co-producer on ’12 Years A Slave’, wore Tom Ford and his own jewelry.
2. Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh
As per usual, Pharrell shook things up on the red carpet in a fearless Lanvin short tux and wife Helen, who is a model/designer, complemented his look while staying on trend in a white blazer, black dress pants and a pussycat bow blouse.
3. Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis
Olivia looked gorgeous in a high-neck, black and white Maison Valentino gown that flattered her baby bump, a Jimmy Choo clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Jason looked handsome in a slim, blue Prada tux.
4. Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves
Matthew McConaughey, who was crowned the Best Actor for his performance in ‘Dallas Buyers Club’, wore a monochrome Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Chopard watch. Camila wore a pastel pink Gabriela Cadena gown that featured a train and cape, Charlotte Olympia shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
5. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
Golden girl Goldie wore (surprise, surpise!) a gold satin Versace gown with draped shoulder detail. Life partner Kurt kept it classic in a timeless, black tuxedo.
6. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
John wore yellow gold, white diamond button cufflinks and yellow gold, white diamond lapel buttonhole both from the Gentleman Collection by David Thomas and Jason of Beverly Hills alongside his supermodel wife, Chrissy, who wore a brilliant, floral strapless Monique Lhuillier dress, Jimmy Choo shoes and clutch, with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
7. Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo
Amy wore a sapphire-coloured, strapless tuxedo-inspired Gucci Premiere gown, Christian Louboutin shoes, and a Tiffany & Co. clutch and jewelry, and her artist fiancee Darren wore head-to-toe John Varvatos.
8. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum
Actress and dancer Jenna showed off her impressive, post-baby body in a sparkling nude Reem Acra gown and Channing opted for a time-honoured, handsome tux.
9. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Sari Mercer
’12 Years a Slave’ star Chiwetel looked dapper in a Rake tux with Christian Louboutin shoes alongside longtime girlfriend Sari, who wore an elegant midnight blue silk gown with both cowl neck and train features, accented by this spring’s on-trend orange lip.
10. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith
Will donned a Berluti tux, switched out a bow tie for a silk scarf and displayed a Harry Winston watch while wife Jada wore a gathered pink chiffon halter gown with a long train cape that was custom designed by Versace. She paired it with Cartier jewels, and Ferragamo shoes and clutch.
