Want to play ‘the woman card?’

Well, you’re going to have to wait a while.

There’s a new deck of cards that have quickly sold out on Kickstarter and could very well become a progressive household staple – if you can get your hands on them.

Inspired by the U.S. presidential campaign, “The Woman Card[s]” features 15 influential women of times past and present in a 54-card deck that started as a Kickstarter project.

Created by sister-brother team Zebby and Zach Wahls, the deck features influential American women like Hillary Clinton (naturally), Beyonce, Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman and others. Two bonus cards feature Ellen DeGeneres and Betty White as jokers.

The project was launched on Kickstarter after Donald Trump accused Hillary Clinton of playing “the woman card.” Like the boss she is, Clinton replied by saying, “Deal me in.”

Not surprisingly, the crowdfunding campaign was a major success.

The Wahls siblings raised more than $150,000 to design and manufacture deck of cards.

The art was designed by Zebby, who is also selling prints of the women in addition to the cards.

As of August 9, the first-edition decks of The Woman Cards have sold out entirely, but there will be a second edition, which you can currently sign up for online.

The deck retails for $19.99 deck, and the prints are $47.99. Some prints are still available.

Now, any takers to create a Canadian edition – perhaps featuring some of these ladies?
