What better a way to wind down the week than with a fashionably early wake-up call? That’s just what the YVR Notable team opted to do last week when we trekked over to Kiss & Makeup in West Van to take in their holiday preview party. We were warmly welcomed by staff who offered attendees a champagne cocktail to awaken the shopping senses. We opted for coffee and a few breakfast bites to kick start our shop-savvy radar. Owner Heather Huntingford was on hand to offer up her take on noteworthy gift-giving ideas guaranteed to make any young professional gal giddy.
Kiss & Makeup is a haven for Vancouver YPs hunting for unique designer brands, hard to find collections, and stunning pieces you just won’t find anywhere else. We instantly fell for a few Art Deco-inspired gems and other statement pieces perfect for the ‘hard to buy for’ friend on your list. Every corner of Kiss & Makeup is stocked full of seasonal trends, makeup selections from hard to find lines, and plenty of personal care products (for him and her). We love the bright, chabby-chic design of the boutique that lends a feeling of whimsy to the shopping experience, inviting you to take your time, explore and enjoy a little retail therapy.
