1920s/30s clad YPs and professionals who strongly support the arts descened upon the Carlu for the Business for the Arts Awards Gala and the Arnold Party on October 6th, 2011. The Arnold Party, named for the prestigious Arnold Edinborough Award (this year’s recipient was Simon Foster), was Boardwalk Empire themed, and had some of the best-dressed vintage styles of any event this year. Spin Toronto Grand Opening
SPiN Toronto, a new-to-Canada ping pong social club concept, recently opened its doors at 461 King Street West. Notable stopped in on grand opening night to check out the space (we’d seen it a couple weeks before, sans tables) and snap some shots of all the action. SPiN founders Susan Sarandon, Franck Raharinosy, Jonathon Bricklin, and Andrew Gordon, SPiN Toronto operating partner Ryan Fisher, and table tennis champion Soo Yeon Lee were all in attendance.
