Montreal’s most anticipated music festival is back this summer and celebrating the big One Zero.
That’s right, it’s been 10 years since the hottest music gathering in Montreal kicked off. And Osheaga has been breaking attendance records every year since.
So to build a little mid-winter anticipation, fans are now able to discover the first 10 bands and artists who will be part of the party at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal on July 31st through August 2nd, 2015
And nobody’s going to be disappointed.
Montreal’s favourite, Stromae, will hit Osheaga’s stage with what is sure to be a mind-blowing performance.
American rockers Interpol and hip-hop duo Run the Jewels are joining hit maker DJ Kygo and west coast rapper ScHoolboy Q so far as well.
Marina and the Diamonds, whose new album Froot is highly anticipated for April 2015, will showcase her talents as will folk rock band The Avett Brothers, and Dan Snaith (who will perform twice – once as Caribou accompanied by his band and the second time in a DJ set as Daphni).
Lastly, Milky Chance and Father John Misty, who are both playing sold out shows in Montreal in the coming weeks, will be there to make music fans swoon.
So mark your calendars, music lovers.
Headliners and more than 100 bands will be announced on March 24th at noon.
