Open Roof Festival Presents Nowhere Boy

On August 4th, Open Roof Festival presents Nowhere Boy, a film about John Lennon’s pre-Beatles life. Open Roof Festival’s moviegoers will be treated to a live performance by Canadian folk band The Wilderness of Manitoba.

Open Roof Festival is a Toronto summer movie series located outdoors with the city as its backdrop. Each night of the festival – running Thursdays until September 1st – will feature a live band and a great flick under the nighttime hue of city lights. The mandate of Open Roof Festival is to provide Toronto with an outdoor summer experience that highlights independent artists from Canada and around the world. It’s more than just another night at the movies, it’s an evening of arts and entertainment in support of Toronto’s independent film community.
