Open Casting Call for Trey Parker’s Cannibal! The Musical

So, you starred in your high school musical and you just haven’t found the best ‘fit’ in terms of a career…yet.

Well, here it is.

On Wednesday, October 1st, Starvox Entertainment will host an open casting call for Trey Parker’s Cannibal! The Musical. And yes, they’re the same people who brought us the hilarious Evil Dead – The Musical last year. As you may recall, we had a bloody good time at it.

And maybe you’ve always secretly thought, I can do that.

Well, you’ll never know unless you try.

Cannibal! The Musical is the latest project from Trey Parker, the creator behind South Park and The Book of Mormon (so you know it’s legit and not some back alley, casting couch cattle call).

In what will likely be the same over-the-top, first date-icebreaking humour as Evil Dead, Cannibal! The Musical tells the raunchy and ridiculous true story of Alfred Pecker, the only person convicted of cannibalism in America.

Auditions are open to all. All you have to do (yes, in less than two days time) is prepare a comedic song in the style of the show and bring a current photo and resume. Find more information about the audition process here.

The production is set to open in February 2015.

Audition details:

When:  Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (1 Front St E., Toronto)
