Oh, Canada, you’ve really outdone yourself for this year’s Labour Day Long Weekend EDM party in Calgary, continuing the trend from the impressive Badlands Music Festival at the Stampede in July. Celebrate SummersEND in style while dancing to one of the most insane EDM line-ups Canada has ever seen, including some national heroes.
Headlining this year is the massive electro-house legend Calvin Harris (UK), Sebastian Ingrosso, formerly of Swedish House Mafia, a live set by the Italian Bloody Beetroots, dubstep by the Canadian Destroid Live (Excision, Downlink, and KJ Sawka, drummer of Pendulum), Rusko (UK), Canadian Datsik, Dutch-house superstar Chuckie, Infected Mushroom (ISR) with their Afungusamongus 3D Visual Experience, Borgore (ISR), Dirtyphonics Live (FRA), Otto Knows (SWE), and the Norwegian dubstep duo of Pegboard Nerds.
The festival kicks off Friday, August 30th at 7pm, and the dress code is strictly white for the Sunrise theme with Saturday, August 31st having an all-out neon dress code to get you in the mood for the Sunset theme; the party comes to a halt Sunday, September 1st at 3am. Featuring the beautiful bassy-goodness of 200,000 watts of our hometown PK Sound at the BMO Centre, it will be a fully licensed venue and 18+ event.
