There’s a new take out joint opening soon at 1256 Dundas St. W., and it promises to elevate what you expect from fast food – despite the name.
Junked Food Co. has plans to become Toronto’s “first and best fast casual food stop, designed for every craving you have ever had.”
Sounds promising.
Using only locally grown produce and meat, they’ve set out to create dishes that will satisfy even the strangest urge for your favourite childhood snack.
Junked will be open for lunch, dinner and late-night bites – which makes perfect sense considering the very 2am friendly menu the owners have in store for us.
Mouthwatering items that have already been making appearances on their Facebook page include Black Forest s’mores, Oreo Mason Jar cakes, pumpkin cheesecake, B&B grilled cheese donut, smoked mac & cheese, bacon wrapped baked potato, and pulled pork Dorito nachos.
Suffice to say, we are excited.
