Coming to The Annex this summer is a west-coast export called El Furniture Warehouse. While they’re yet to actually disclose their exact location, word on the street (see what we did there?) is that you’re going to find them on Bloor between Bathurst and Spadina. We spoke to one of the owners, Sean Young, who seems like a less-is-more kind of guy when it comes to talking up his new spot, “Honestly, I don’t really want to provide any details. Everyone is welcome to come check us out when we open. You can follow us on Instagram to see what we’re all about.”
The account isn’t going to show you pictures of the new space – yet. But you’ll quickly get an idea of the vibe they’re giving off. And while we did manage to get Sean to tell us that the restaurant/bar is slated to open mid June, we can’t help feeling a little bit like we’re dating Jason Segel.
Apparently we’ll just have to be mud for another month until we can see what El Furniture Warehouse is all about.
