On June 17, Air New Zealand is offering round-trip tickets from Vancouver to Auckland for just $475.
That’s at least a third cheaper than the standard $1,200 to $2,000 fare.
But hold your kiwis, because we’re about to dive into the omnipresent buzzkill known as ‘terms and conditions’.
To start, you can’t just go on the Internet next Wednesday and book your dream vacation. Only those lined up at Flight Centre Canada’s Vancouver location at 625 Howe St. will get a chance to secure this deal, for which only 75 tickets will be sold.
Expect a line.
If you’re feeling lucky, you can enter a Facebook contest to be one of five lucky people chosen to jump the queue on June 17th.
Travel dates are also restricted to three 12-day windows from the end of September to mid-October, which means you’ll arrive just in time for the temperamental winter to spring transition.
Still, not bad.
