You know it’ll be a great weekend when MINI Canada invites you to join them alongside hundreds of other MINIs to become part of motoring history.
Kicking off the day-long rally that would span six cities and two provinces, we met at BMW MINI Laval, QC with over 100 other MINI lovers to start the collective journey to Ottawa.

This third installation of the #MINIInvasion2015 attracted a record-breaking 303 MINIs and 640 people from across Canada, including as far afield as Riverport, Nova Scotia and Kensington, Prince Edward Island.
With this being Canada’s largest and most groundbreaking invasion to date, it just proves how loyal and passionate MINI owners really are.
“MINI Invasion is becoming a highly-anticipated event for legions of avid MINI enthusiasts,” said Adam Shaver, director, MINI Canada. “It is a unique way for us to show thanks to our customers. The success of this program is a direct reflection of the strength and pride of the MINI community in Canada. It is pretty amazing to see so many fans come together to celebrate the brand and share in the spirit of the MINI community. It’s truly a proud moment.”
Aside from being able to test-drive one of the newest and fastest MINIs on the market, the John Cooper Works, we were treated to a variety of fun events and pit-stops along the way that fed us, kept us hydrated, and allowed us to mingle and meet some of the nicest MINI drivers on the road.
The final destination was an amazing industrial site filled with music stages, DJs, bars, and of course, plenty of MINI’s.
In true MINI fashion, loyal owners and enthusiasts were recognized for their dedication to the brand; awards were handed out for the furthest-traveled, heritage, and best-in-show MINIs.
We can’t wait until #MINIINVASION2016 comes around and get our engines roaring all over again.
