We eliminate rent cheques and make paying rent rewarding.
What kick ass projects/programs have you been working on recently?
We recently launched RM Cash, which allows tenants to pay their rent at any 7-Eleven!

What are some of the biggest challenges you have faced?
In the early days, we sometimes came across property managers who had trouble letting go of their old school cheques. Most signed up within a few months but it took one property manager over three years to finally admit that cheques are dying. Eventually, everyone comes around.
Do you have any advice for other young professionals working within a team?
Clear and consistent communication is critical even if you work in the same office.
Does your team have a designated leader?
Patrick, Andrew and Philipp lead the RentMoola team.
Within your organization, are teams switched up every once in a while or do they maintain the same? What are some of the benefits and cons of that?
Teams focus on one thing to become true experts, but are always working with other teams to maximize success.
What does the word collaboration mean to you?
Win, lose, and improve as a team.
What has been you and your team’s favourite project/campaign/initiative to work on?
Eliminating the real pain point of paying rent around the world.

Where is your teams favourite place to wine/dine in your city and why?
Our team loves grabbing lunch at the EAT Chicken Wraps food truck at the corner of Robson and Howe. We think that if everyone ate a chicken rice box, world peace could be achieved. That’s how happy it makes you feel.
Do you and your team go out together? Where and why?
We love summer yacht parties (see our team photo). Nothing beats cruising the waters of Vancouver with drinks in hand and tunes spinning.
What’s the best thing that has happened to you and your team recently?
We were recently named to the ‘Fintech Five’ list by PayPal.
Are there any other teams within your company or any company that you know of that are killing it?
We kill it as a team. Our team motto is ‘ABC’ – Always Be Closing. We even wear t-shirts that say it.
