The public will have a chance to gain free behind-the-scenes access to popular buildings, taking in the cultural, architectural and design history as part of the program. Harvest Haus (this weekend, Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza)
It’ll be hard to miss the huge tented area directly off West Georgia Street downtown – home to Vancouver’s first-ever Harvest Haus. This multi-day Oktoberfest-style party aims to attract thousands, with several seatings available each day. Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure (Saturday, October 5)
Head to 88 Pacific Blvd at Concord Pacific Place this Saturday and strap on your pink shoes, shirt and running attire to show your support at this year’s walk/run event.  The CIBC Run for the Cure is the largest single-day volunteer-based event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, awareness and educational programs.   Do your bit and participate.
