Halloween Happenings: Halloween SkyTrain Party
This pop-up dance party has been around long before flash mobs became de rigueur and is organized by the Vancouver Public Spaces Network. Join other costumed riders at Waterfront Station before 8pm for an hour-long ride you’ll remember, complete with decorations and DJ.  There is an after party set to take place at a secret location – where the real Halloween spirit will be unleashed.  For more details visit here.

Just opened: The Fish Shack (1026 Granville Street)
The doors of what used to be the Glowbal Group’s Sanafir have finally re-opened to reveal a revamped 100-seat, multi-level space. The Fish Shack is a seafood lover’s haven with a fresh selection of shellfish, catch-of-the-day, steamers, sandwiches and comfort food such as chowder in a bowl and fish & chips. In keeping with Glowbal Group’s style, BOX Interiors took the design helm to create a bright and befitting nautical theme that’s decidedly stripped down and cozy. Expect plenty of beer on tap, wines by the glass and signature Caesars. More info here.
