As part of this month’s Tip Out To Help Campaign spearheaded by the BC Hospitality Foundation, Skills and Spills is the first-ever industry games set to pit teams of competitors against one another via various problem-solving and physical tests.  The event takes place at noon on Sunday and will include a Tug of War, Hospitality Grind and plenty more to get your heart racing. Toast to the Coast (October 18th at the Vancouver Aquarium)
Don your best cocktail attire and be sure to head out to Friday night’s foodie event of the year that happens to take place at the Vancouver Aquarium. Bulletins from Immortality (The Cultch, October 23-26)
Squeeze a little theatre into the mix and check out Bulletins from Immortality at The Cultch. It’s a provocative stage presentation centered on a literary master: Emily Dickinson. As a renowned creative storyteller, Dickinson was misunderstood during her lifetime; it was only during the second half of the 19th century that critics recognized her as a major American poet.
