CandyTown: A Yaletown Holiday Festival (November 23 -24th) in Yaletown
This weekend, kick things into holiday gear and head down to CandyTown’s free winter festival. The event will feature an outdoor skating rink (so dust of those blades), live reindeer, local artisans taking to the streets, performances, an appearance by former NHL’er Trevor Linden and a Candytown Cocktail Tour courtesy of Yaletown hot spots. The event kicks off starting Friday at 3pm for two days of pre-Christmas cheer. For more info click here

Vancouver Christmas Market (November 24 to December 24) 650 Hamilton Street
Back for its third year and setting up shop at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza, The Vancouver Christmas Market is ready to add to the festive mood in the city. Sample your way through row after row of artisanal offerings courtesy of vendors and get started on your holiday shopping as you take in the unique gifts available. Sip on mulled wine while you enjoy live folk music, and stop by during lunch break with a colleague and enjoy a 2 for 1 pass. Learn more and purchase tickets here.

Amaluna (opens November 23rd) 88 Pacific Blvd
The latest creation courtesy of Cirque du Soleil is set to take over Vancouver starting Friday, running through until December 30th. Year after year, Cirque du Soleil shows that have made their way out west have consistently sold out, and Amaluna is shaping up to be no exception with its mystical storyline, elaborate costumes and awe-inspiring performances.
