DOXA Festival 2013 (various venues, May 3 to 12)
With 74 screenings set to take over nearly a half dozen theatres around town, this is one documentary film festival that will be hard to miss – and you wouldn’t want to. DOXA is set to celebrate its 12th year and features a high calibre of creative talent over the 10-day festival showcasing documentaries from more than two dozen countries around the world. BMO Vancouver Marathon (May 5, 2013)
Back for another incredible year, thousands upon thousands will be lining up to run one of Vancouver’s largest athletic events that attracts competitors from all over. Cheer on runners as they gear up to tackle the full and half marathons or 8km course.
