This weekend, head over to the Grand Marquee tent that’s popped up in False Creek and grab tickets to Cirque du Soleil ‘s latest acrobatic spectacular. Gastown has another new hotspot for cocktails and light bites with the recent opening of Blacktail Florist – partly owned by former Top Chef Canada contestant Chef Jimmy Stewart. With a newly designed interior that invites visitors to all but escape into the outdoors (thanks to Ste. Marie Art + Design), it’s like being in an organically-inspired wonderland. A menu laden with BC-based seasonal ingredients with a twist and cocktails courtesy of Connor Gotowiec make it a sweet and savoury culinary treat.
