Cheeky Fun: 2nd Annual Tongue N’ Cheek Show (1660 East Broadway)
Tonight (March 22nd), the Rio Theatre is set to host the 2nd Annual Tongue N’ Cheek Show featuring a mash-up of four queens of Sweet Soul Burlesque and four Giants of Spoken Word for one memorable night of devious fun. Renowned spoken word artists will perform their best cheeky poetry while respective burlesque artists interpret. This night will meld heart, soul and body like no other and shouldn’t be missed. Worthy Cause: Feed the People 1 Year Anniversary (55 Dunlevy Avenue)
Set to celebrate its first anniversary of do-gooding, Vancouver-based start-up Feed the People will again be hosting a volunteer gathering in order to provide 1000 sandwiches for those in need. Come Sunday, March 24th at 1pm, head down to the Vancouver Urban Winery to lend a hand, or stop by with your donation toward the cost of food (canned, non-perishable items are accepted).
