Tonight (March 22nd), the Rio Theatre is set to host the 2nd Annual Tongue N’ Cheek Show featuring a mash-up of four queens of Sweet Soul Burlesque and four Giants of Spoken Word for one memorable night of devious fun. Worthy Cause: Feed the People 1 Year Anniversary (55 Dunlevy Avenue)
Set to celebrate its first anniversary of do-gooding, Vancouver-based start-up Feed the People will again be hosting a volunteer gathering in order to provide 1000 sandwiches for those in need. Come Sunday, March 24th at 1pm, head down to the Vancouver Urban Winery to lend a hand, or stop by with your donation toward the cost of food (canned, non-perishable items are accepted).
