The Vancouver International Auto Show (March 25 to 30)
Back for another year of revved-up fun, the Vancouver International Auto Show will roll into the Vancouver Convention Centre to showcase everything from the latest exotic models to gleaming collector cars, accessories and more. Wildebeest Dinner with Four Winds Brewing Co. (March 120 West Hastings Street)

Gesamtkunstwerk Exhibition (March 22 to May 19, 1460 Howe Street)
Don’t miss the launch of this curated exhibition that showcases Vancouver’s architectural coming-of-age, from the 1950s through 2018. Designed by the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG of Copenhagen and New York) it features multi-media platforms, scale models, see-through drawings, videos, 3D wall texts and recorded narration from city-building visionaries. Highlights include a 1955 pencil sketch imaging a ‘futuristic’ Vancouver by renowned architect Arthur Erickson, imagery of the public art ‘spinning chandelier’ by artist Rodney Graham, and a scale model of the city-defining Vancouver House by BIG, slated for completion in 2018. Coming Up: Sonic Boom Music Festival 2014 (Orpheum Annex, 823 Seymour Street)
Don’t miss next week’s duo of acoustically beautiful venues on Seymour Street that will find themselves surrounded by the sounds of BC’s vibrant, contemporary, classical (New Music) scene. The return of Sonic Boom will feature works by composer and guitarist John Oliver, the Art-Song Chamber ensemble, the Erato Ensemble and harpist Heidi Krutzen playing between March 26th and 30th as part of this collaborative event featuring different performers.  For more details about this upcoming event, click here.

Coming Up: Dining Out for Life (March 25th, various venues)
Support the 20th Anniversary of Dining Out for Life and make your way out to one of Vancouver’s many participating restaurants, lounges and cafes, who are donating 25% of the day’s food sales to support those affected by HIV/AIDS in our communities.  Thus far, DOFL has raised more than $3 million throughout the Lower Mainland in support of research and assistance.
