82nd Stanley Park Open (ongoing until July 28)
Catch all the courtside action in picturesque Stanley Park this weekend at the 82nd Stanley Park Open.  With mixed doubles, men’s and women’s competitions taking place all weekend long, experience North America’s largest tennis tournament. Caribbean Days Festival (July 27 to 28)
Head to North Vancouver’s Waterfront Park for this year’s Caribbean Days Festival that will definitely spice up your weekend. Take in live entertainment, sample your way through the international food fair and grab some goods to go. Also on-hand is an extensive craft market and plenty of tastes of the Caribbean. PechaKucha heads to New Westminster (July 27)
In need of an excuse to exit the city for a night of thought-provoking inspiration? Head no further than PechaKucha vol. 3 as it sets up shop in New Westminster (just outside of downtown Vancouver). This free event will take place at Westminster Pier Park and features 10 presenters speaking about a variety of topics. Honda Celebration of Light (July 27 ongoing)
This weekend marks the return of the Celebration of Light, now lighting up the sky for its 23rd year in Vancouver. It is one of the city’s largest events that attracts upwards of 400,000 spectators to English Bay for an evening of fireworks.
