Just Opened: Shangri-La Toronto
The illustrious Shangri-La Hotel has finally opened their Toronto outpost, and it’s glitz and glam like few others. First, it’s an internationally acclaimed luxury hotel brand, which means it’s helping to cater to the city’s luxe tourist. Second, it’ll house three of David Chang’s Momofuku restaurants, so fine dining in the city is getting a high-end hit. Find it at 188 University Avenue.

Opening Soon: The Soho House
Another huge coup for Toronto, The Soho House is about to launch their first Canadian club at 192 Adelaide Street West. During TIFF this year, they hosted the Grey Goose Soho House parties seeing celebs like Emily Blunt, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Ewan MacGregor popping by. This is an extremely exclusive club, and becoming a member is like the keys to the VIP.

Just Opened: EQ3 Flagship
Amazingly modern furniture company EQ3 just launched their Toronto flagship location in the heart of Liberty Village. Found at 3 – 51 Hanna Avenue, EQ3’s latest location boasts the luxe collaborative line with Marimekko, 9,000 sq. ft. of furniture, and the most comprehensive collection of their beautifully cosmopolitan lines in the city.

Queen West Art Crawl
On tonight through Sunday, the Queen West Art Crawl is a festival of creativity and community. Beginning in 2003, the QWAC has grown to an all-encompassing event featuring festivities throughout Queen West from Bathurst to Roncesvalles, many a demonstration of artistic talent, guided tours, and a jury-selected outdoor arts show.
