Just Opened: Ardor Bistro
At 59 Ossington Avenue you’ll now find Ardor Bistro, a Latin-American haven with Peruvian flavour. Seating about 30, Ardor Bistro has a nice focus on the freshest of seafood, and have a cocktail program using Peruvian spirit Pisco for tasty trinkets. In a city where Japanese and Italian reign supreme, it’s nice to see an influx of South American restaurants taking over the scene.

Live Market in Liberty Village
Looking for a great new spot to grab a coffee in Liberty Village? How about a healthy grab-and-go lunch? Well, look no further, because the answer to your prayers comes in the form of the newly opened Live Market (134 Atlantic Avenue). This food bar serves up fair-trade coffee, gluten free wraps, and juice cleanses on site.

Grid Burger Week
It’s back and bigger than before. The magic that is Grid Burger Week takes over the city from May 29 to June 2, where 67 of Toronto’s top restaurants and eateries will be serving up a special $5 burger as part of this gastronomical week. On June 2, all restaurants will gather at Artscape Wychwood Barns (601 Christie Street) to showcase what they were offering.

Paint the Halls
On May 30 at Women’s College Hospital Foundation (76 Grenville Street), watch the ultimate art showdown as Art Battle pairs up with this great cause, presenting 75 women artists who will “paint the halls” in an all-out melee of canvassed creativity. Vying for top prize, the artists will bewilder and bedazzle as they put on a show worthy of your vote!

Becel Ride for Heart
Dust off those helmets, oil those chains, and check your bells, because the Becel Ride for Heart takes over Toronto streets on June 2 for a biking marathon. Beginning at Exhibition Place, you can ride either 25, 50, or 75km routes as you dash to the finish line while helping to raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Kampai Toronto
On May 30 at the Fermenting Cellar in the historic Distillery District (28 Distillery Lane), join hundreds of sake enthusiasts at this year’s Kampai Toronto. Put on by the Sake Institute of Ontario, Kampai Toronto is the perfect event to try over 100 different sakes alongside amazing Japanese food from top Toronto restaurants.
