Just Opened: Valentina
Taking over the space left by The Bellevue in Kensington Market (61a Bellevue Ave.) is Valentina, a new Latin-American restaurant boasting vibrant Aztec flavours from Mexico. With a great front patio, Valentina will be a hotspot (literally) this summer with delicious Mexican cuisine alongside some excellent contemporary cocktails.

Just Opened: Dineen Coffee Co.
At Yonge and Temperance (140 Yonge Street) you’ll now find the impressive Dineen Coffee Co., a high-end and gorgeous new coffee shop that caters to the discerning caffeine addict. With an impressive space that’s as classy as it is large, this new gourmet cafe will undoubtedly be the morning hot spot for Bay Streeters and the like.

Just Opened: Against the Grain in Leaside
Against the Grain Urban Tavern – a favourite tavern in downtown Toronto – now has a sister location in Leaside (85 Laird Avenue). Unique local and European beers are found within, pairing perfectly with dishes like maple chipotle baked wings and stone baked flatbreads. Like its sister, Against the Grain Leaside is just as its moniker suggests.

One Night Stand
Take a stand for children’s mental health at the classiest One Night Stand you’ll ever have. Going down in the Burroughes Building (639 Queen Street West) on May 23, One Night Stand brings together a silent auction, music, networking, hors d’oeuvres and drinks in support of the Hincks-Dellcrest Foundation, supporting endeavours for children’s mental health.

Just Opened: Osteria dei Ganzi
In the old Gooderham House (504 Jarvis Street) now stands Osteria dei Ganzi, an Italian restaurant and aperitivo bar. With a massive patio, it’s the perfect time for Ganzi to be opening. Focusing on classic Italian dishes with contemporary twists, the menu is great for sharing. The cocktail list is also impressive, with a mix of classics and newfangled concoctions.
